2007 convertibles

Do the 2007 convertibles change at all? I guess I just assumed they would get the new powerplant, but I have the sinking feeling that they will not. If anyone knows please post!

BMW plans on keeping the cabrio going in its current form, engine and all, until 08-09 at the earliest. Also, fewer will be built. Prob using up old body parts and Chrysler engines still lying about.

Also the current cabrios could not accomodate the new engine, it's a little too big with the exhaust manifold in the front, not the rear.

From what I've heard, BMW has so much invested in the Cabrio that they do not want (or see the need) to change the spec until 08-09. The Cabs are selling very well and if it ain't broke...
