Nice video... one thing I can say is that the car is Turbo for sure... the SC sound was no where to be found...
I think I would miss the whine if I was to get one...

And boy did it look good. Pretty flat through the corners. Nice exhaust note too.

Ya but once you heard that turbo spool, I'm sure you'd miss the whine a little less

Does anyone else think this? I thought it looked a bit splashy and soft through the corners in comparision to the 02-06. Maybe it's just my biast towards the first gen Mini.

The ring is not perfectly flat. There are bumps and humps all through it.
My 03 danced a bit at high speeds around there. A good test driver is probably taking some of these corners at the edge of the mini's ability.

I don't mean the track (i'd sure hope the ring wasn't flat or it wouldn't be as cool as it is), but the Mini's ability to stay as flat as possible through cornering for optimum cornering.

Oh, I see your point. Yeah, it swims a little through there. Maybe they haven't finalized the suspension? Perhaps it was JUST a cooper? Although, I do remember my suspension compressing very far in the twisties. High speeds do goofy things to what you think is a solid car.

That rear bumper look so bulbous, but it also looks like they camo'd the snot out of it. The sage continues, I guess....

Cool Post!

I wish they would leave the front end the same as the '05, '06. Have to see the finished product but if they have Jet Black available, that's when I will weigh the new performance & costs before deciding!
