N18 timing chain carnage-is block still good based on these pics?

Hi, is that part of the casting important or can it be re-used? Can you also use that block for a stage 2 engine or more eventually? Thanks

related but no😁. That one I know that the thrust bearing is damaged, thanks to the clutch manufacturer for mislabeling the orientation of the disc. My timing job was flawless finally.
This one was an engine that I bought with a broken chain for 80 dollars , thinking that I'd like to open and maybe rebuilt it in some spare time, with eventually a closed deck. Never thought that I might see if I can cannibalize it so soon😁
