Assitance Locating Oil Leak

Hey Guys,

Wondering if any of you might assist me pinpoint the source of an oil leak I have on a R56 S N14. I actually have a coolant leak and oil leak. I was confident it was the oil filter housing seals due to seeing both oil, and coolant which I had replaced last year and was thinking it was a bad install. I took my car apart today and after taking off the heat shield off the downpipe I was surprised it doesn't look wet in that area. Now after closer inspection, I think the antifreeze leak has to be the thermostat housing, but I'm not seeing where this oil leak is coming from. It doesn't seem to be coming from the oil pan. I do have a small leak on the crank seal, but I'm not sure where this oil is coming from. Any of you have any ideas on the source of the leak from the pictures? Your help would greatly be appreciated.

Maybe rear main seal? Seems likely.

Id check your Water Pipe and Thermostat for antifreeze leaks. If you look at your CVs, it looks like its dripping on to them and then being flung everywhere.
The oil leak could be a slow RMS leak, or the large Allen bolts behind the Flywheel. I dont see any residual from the Oil Cooler or Turbo Feed Line.

Concur ... looks like both of your main seals are leaking ... lots of oil and dirt accumulation on the block behind the alternator. I've used UV dye in the oil to help me find leaks in the past. It's available on Amazon.

Thanks for your inputs. The rear seal looks like a PITA to replace. Will clean it up and try the dye to try to confirm.
