Scarcity of JCW Parts/Late to the Party

Hello all,

I’m late to the party! In the late 2000s, I was dead set on ordering a Mini and was on here religiously. Well, that never happened and the years went on. Fast forward to today, had an itch and bought a beautiful 13’ Cooper S with the factory JCW body kit that was well optioned. I have experience with a variety of high performance cars from a young age, and I must say, I waited way too long to buy a MINI!

Anyway, I want to equip this car with as many JCW parts as possible. I used to have a brochure listing all of them, but I can’t find it and can’t find it online anywhere. It seems like the parts stream has dried up entirely because I can’t find them online either.

Is anybody still selling JCW parts or is there a list of all the parts that is available anywhere?

Beyond that, is there anything pressing that I should know about this car?

Thanks in advance. Pictures of car and its occupants included below.

Hello,

Some are nla.

Most you can find here. Looks like you have a 2011 MCS?

The marketplace here, ECS, AllMag Auto, Ebay are probably your best bet at getting parts you are looking for. Aside from ECS, they should all be "used". The limited recaro seats are probably the only thing I would want personally...but I would have a better shot finding a GP under 10K for sale.

Thank you!

I’m specifically trying to find the JCW suspension parts. I thought there was a specific kit for it that also included larger sway bars but I don’t remember.

It seems like the JCW power kit is still readily available. The brakes are becoming hard to find too.

I forgot to mention WayMotorWorks, they are also a great source for these parts and more.
If you look on marketplace on this site, someone is selling authentic JCW brakes, they are also found on ebay. There are Budweg caliper copies if you want a brand new set.
For suspension, Id go on WayMotorWorks and grab their Bilstein Coilovers B14 set, I believe its the same/similar coilovers in the JCW - but I could be wrong. Get a WMW Sway bar, its slightly bigger than the stock JCW bar but will net you the results your after.
