2013 Cooper S Transmission Light
The transmission light comes on every time I press the brake pedal in my 2013 Mini Cooper S, also the car will not shift out of park after having work done on the JBE. A little background info: about two months ago I was having problems with the car randomly shutting off, but no transmission issues at all. After having both fuel pumps replaced, I decided to check the relay solder joint in the JBE. I unsuccessfully tried the repair myself and when I put the JBE back in the car I ran into several problems. Car was stuck in park, tach not working and fuel gauge not working (plus all kinds of warning lights). I sent the JBE out for repairs and when I installed it again the other night, the repair seems to have fixed most of the errors I received after my attempt…but the car is still stuck in park. I’m not 100% sure if the transmission check light was on after the first repair attempt, but I think it might have been. Any ideas?
