R56 DME: Protection against tampering Code 00375c
DME: Protection against tampering Code 00375c
Hi my 2011 mini S has a code I can’t clear. The code is 00375c anti tampering. I believe this may be from a tune someone did before I purchased the car. Car runs fine with the code but it caused the check engine light to come on.
Anyone have any advice on sorting this out ?

@Wrightbenz ,
If that code can't be cleared, you'll need to have your DME either have it relearned or be reprogrammed by a dealership since the driver modified for whatever he did outside the parameter as per manufacturer rules.

Here is your service plan for that code:
- Replace the DME if the fault is permanently present or the fault occurrence count is higher than 3.
Sounds like a replacement DME is possibly in your future.

changing just the DME isn’t really an option is it ? Don’t they have to be paired with the ews module ?
