Trunk cargo light

Few days ago, I went down the rabbit hole of modifying R56..
I know... not good. Haha
And today this came to the mailbox from AliExpress.


And installed.


Not bad for $15. :D

Looks very good. I know that OEM trunk light don't give out much light at all. Now you can see everything

Nice and bright! Do you have any pictures to show how its actually installed? Is it just stuck to the back side of the weatherstrip?

Very cool idea! Did you leave the factory light in place too? Any bulb warnings as a result of this mod?

Glad you guys like it. :D Yeah. It's so much brighter! I'm thinking to do the same on the doors too.
There is nothing special about the installation.
Just tuck it around the weatherstrip and tap +/- to the trunk light.
I kept the factory light in place and there is no bulb out warning.
