R56 N12 Valve seats

Finally, I found (well my machine shop found) the deeper valve seats I need to fix my head.

If you need valve seats; contact SBI. http://sbi-e-catalog.com/

Notice the SBI seats are much deeper than the OEM seats, and they aren't prone to falling out.



Here are the part numbers. The intake seats are the -2.



Cheers! These will work in the N16 engine too. The N18 uses different seats; Check with SBI if you have an N14.

Maybe an administrator will make this a sticky thread; it took me a while to find these. And if you buy them from a retailer, there's a huge markup!!!

Do you mind sharing what your cost to rebuild the head was? I dropped a seat as well and I need to take it in to a machine shop. Thanks!

expect to spend $500.00. Recommend replacing all valves & valve seats.

Allied cylinder head in Atlanta, GA is the shop my local shop used.
