Timing determination for 07 MCS engine install
Could someone tell me or point me in the right direction.
How do I determine I have locked the crankshaft in the right position
before I place the cam lockes on during the timing process

Youhsimura,
Thanks, you know the crank goes around twice for one revolution of the cams.
So, there is a 50% possibility that you could be right or off by180 degrees.
This is applicable if you were locking a running car.

Rotate the cranksahaft center bolt (18mm) clockwise (clockwise only) until the writing on the center of each camshaft is at the 12 o'clock position. Then insert the crankshaft locking tool. It's not possible to be 180 degrees off because there is only one hole in the flywheel.
