N18 intake hose

I bought the AEM cold air intake for my R56 but they no longer come with the intake hose....wtf?

Can anyone recommend a intake hose from my R56 N18? I bought some 5 ply silicone hose from Amazon but its crap, I like the M7 tuning but not the price. Are there performance hard pipes I should be looking at? Any recommendations?

I'm assuming talking about from the filter housing to the turbo inlet. The N18 intakes typically don't come with them because you have to bypass the PCV heaters on that tube. I bought a CTS intake without realizing that, but luckily NM Engineering makes a kit that tricks the computer into thinking they're still there. I'm not sure if anybody makes just that intake tube, you might have to live with the OEM plastic or buy a different kit.

M7 makes a MAF to turbo inlet pipe:

I have an AEM intake and then added the M7 pipe.

Exact weight? No clue. Not enough to worry about. I'm sure if I stopped eating donuts I could justify any weight gain from the intake. But, that ain't gonna happen.

I have been very pleased with the AEM. Free flow box and filter, and it actually uses the hood scoop for extra fresh air.
