I replaced water pump, pipe & thermostat housing. I followed pelican & bmw tutorials. I’m in the process of reassembly but stopped after mounting intake manifold because I cannot figure out what this connection goes to.





it’s back by the starter and reaches to the front tire. The wires are orange and grey.

any ideas?
btw: I have not assembled the car enough to try and start it to look for a code, I was hoping to avoid having to take it all apart again.
