R56 MCS N14 to JCW Stock ECU tune

Guys, need a bit of advice.
Car is stock N14 R56 MCS.
Latest JCW exhaust manifold, JCW stock BorgWarner turbo and MAF are installed brand new.
Car logically doesn't read the MAF, since ECU is not aware it exists.

I have been planning for a long time to code the ECU to make it "believe" it is a JCW engine.
Compression is slightly higher than stock JCW engine, but that shouldn't be a problem.

My main objective is to start reading the MAF for optimal engine management.
Engine itself is in flawless condition. Completely rebuilt with 6k miles on the clock, no issues whatsoever.

Do i go ahead and load the firmware for JCW, do I flash it to USA firmware (they have MAF on the MCSs as well), or do I code a JCW kit retrofit?

Been searching around, but cannot find the optimal approach... Seems like everyone is going for custom tunes.

Not a big fan of ECU tuning myself, I am after reliability and not performance necessarily.
I do not trust the tuners in my area, so prefer to stick to stock firmware.

Contact @Lou@Prototype-R He could probably whip up a stock JCW tune for you no problem, or give you a little bit extra...

Thanks @njaremka.
I spoke with a local business that is specialized in factory software updates and retrofits for BMWs. I have known the guys for years now and they do magic.
Unfortunately, it appears that what I am trying to achieve has already been tried recently on a friend's car (i had no clue) .
In other words, it is not possible to tell the car it is JCW without replacing the ECU and CAS due to some sw locks.

Therefore, the only feasible option for me to factory activate my MAF is to tell the car it is a USA-N14 R56 Mini Cooper S.
And then for more power, retrofit the JCW package, which essentially is just a BMW sw-tune.

The only prerequisite i have is to find a VIN of a vehicle that is similar to mine with options and manufacture year.
That would be 2007, MCS (Cooper S R56), manual gearbox, automatic climate control
Options like xenons, panorama roof, cruise, mfsw, audio, mirrors are not relevant to the engine and shouldn't be a problem.

Can you guys help me with that, please. PM is fine.

n.b. I want to activate the MAF to make sure that fuel mix is optimal. For some reason BMW/Mini were not able to market the model in California without the MAF due to some emissions challenges. Or at least that is the internet "wisdom". Coding it to USA-VIN software version on the DME would allow me also drive on regular gasoline, and not always on the premium one, which works well for me.

Not sure what you mean by "automatic climate control". Did a breakdown on my '07 MCS w/manual tranny, and found order options # 534 "automatic air conditioning", is this what you're looking for? And if you find someone with the option you're looking for, what do you want from them? Last time Mini updated my ECU software, it had the prefix "H810B", but if you aren't in the USA, you might have a hard time finding a dealer with that version --- good luck.

USA minimum octane for the MCS is 91, calculated using USA formula. No way we should use "regular" gas, which would be 87 octane. If you're not in the USA, you need to get familiar with the different measurement formulas before using internet info.

And FYI --- another difference between JCW and MCS is the MAP sensors --- both have higher limits and need a different map. My H810B software won't recognize the JCW sensors.

Be careful what you ask for --- you might get it!

I have dropped the idea to try and code the car to JCW DME soft.
Hence the reason I want to recode the DME to USA-VIN Standard N14 MCS, to be able to use the MAF. My MAF is already wired to the DME according to the TIS wiring diagrams.
(European N14 MCSs don't have MAF)

As for the fuel, apologies, there might have been a misunderstanding. I am aware that 91 in USA is 95 in Europe. We have nothing below 95 here though (or at least I haven't seen in many years).
Car runs normally according to my subjective perception with anything above 95.

All I need is a VIN number of such a vehicle that is around 2007 and is standard MCS w. N14 engine, manual gearbox and #534.

I am not updating it with a dealer, but rather with someone who works closely with the R&D department of BMW.
The ask for VIN is to double check we are selecting the right ECU firmware image.
