I recently purchased a 2022 SE with no options. I want to install an autodimming homelink mirror. I did the swap on my 1 series a few years ago, and can't find the old mirror to test. I know about the potential wiring headaches, and the retrofit wiring kit I used is no longer available.

Does anyone know if:
A BMW mirror will mount to the Mini's windshield?
Or
The mirror from an older Mini mount to the 2022 windshield?

Either one would give me a lot more eBay options.

So that scratches a BMW mirror off my list. Do the earlier Cooper mirrors have the same mount? What about the other Mini's? Do they all mount the same way? Thanks
