I went to look at the bulbs in my side markers and found the lamp barrels melted.


Is this a common occurrence? Could be PO put higher wattage in?
Rears work fine, btw.

 

I have never heard of it but I am sure it has happened to others, definitely not normal. Swap in LED's, code it and call it a day

 

I went with stock assemblies. I'm replacing broken and missing items before I decide to go LED.
Apron Firewall Cover (Battery door broken off; windshield lip disintegrated)
Sound Insulation For Engine Hood and Rivets (missing)
Center Console Sliding Top Armrest Cover (guides broken)
16" ANTENNA MAST (missing)

PO put foot into DS Bass speaker grille
DS mirror cover replaced with primered one
