Hello, I'm fairly new to this sub forum stuff but I just needed to get an answer for my question. I bought an '08 R56 hatch with hope's of lifting it up and of course, I need to buy rims to piece it all together. While checking the purchase I had just made, I noticed the rims said they were 4x4.00 instead of 4x100. I, of course, immediately started to panic cos dropping 340 dollars onto rims for me is quite a big chunk of change. I just wanted to know if 4x4.00 inches is quintessentially the same thing as 4x100 millimeters. If not, is there anything I can do except returns to the company like wobble bolts or anything for the matter. Thank you for your time and thank you in advance for the help 😁
Well, 4” bolt circle is 4 x 25.4 = 101.6mm. This is close to 100mm, but not correct. Please contact the store and try to change before they ship. I know no type of wobble bolts that can correct this. I work at Summit Racing Equipment and our customers order the wrong wheels all the time. (You should also be considering back spacing. Talk to the representative about your application and match everything up.) Good luck.
