R56 Late 2011 Cooper S missing sport button
Late 2011 Cooper S missing sport button
Hi!
I just bought a R56 Mini Cooper S from November 2011. The VIN states that it has a N18 engine. The car was bought in Switzerland.
I noticed that it doesn't bring the sport button. When I drove the car it was noticeable because you can't ear any pops from the exhaust. Shouldn't the car do it all the time by default since it doesn't have the button? Or is it a feature of the sport mode?
What options do I have? Can I retrofit it? I've read it's also possible to get a OBD2 BT adapter and with an app like Bimmercode to program it to be always on even though it doesn't have the button from factory. Is this true? Upon inspecting the app in demo mode I can't see any option like this for the R56 Mini Cooper.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks.
