Transmission handle
Today I noticed a handle on the top of the transmission.
It moved when I tried it.
Does anyone know what it is for?

Manual transmission, under the hood, physically on top of the transmission? That would be the shifter control arm where the cables from the shifter inside the car attach to shift the gears.
