CNT dp install

Hey guys. Has anyone who installed the cnt down pipe taken pictures or have words of wisdom? I'm trying to get mine installed and I'm not quite sure how to attach the dp to the factory exhaust supports. If I try to attach it to the oem support mounts, it won't reach the top of the turbo lol.

Somebody's gotta have something. Thanks!

The two brackets that mount to the block are adjustable. Loosen or remove them, get the downpipe attached to the turbo and exhaust, then find the optimal position for those brackets, and tighten everything down.

that did the trick! as for the v-band, I jacked up the flex section a little bit and that allowed me to use both hands to secure/tighten it. In case anyone searches in the future

Watch for that factory clamp for the downpipe to the exhaust they like to leak and you have to really really torque it down hard to make it seal. I ended up cutting my CNT downpipe and exhaust and welding in an actual VBand clamp instead so the car didn’t stink so badly of exhaust fumes when the heat was on.
