Vibrating rattling noise with hard right turn (video)
So had a noisy right side bearing and leaky boot on driver side axle. Replaced both bearings, driver side axle, and front sway bar links. Now get a noise only with a hard right turn. Take a listen please
So it's only when making a wide right turn, the more I turn the steering wheel right the more noisy it is. Any ideas?
I thought it might be a heat shield, but it's securely on. Only other thing that comes to mind is that the brand new bearing is bad. I also noticed that the new axle did not have vibration damper like the OEM.

If I’m hearing what you’re talking about, sounds like a metallic grinding noise? I’ve had the front brake splash shield get bent and start rubbing on the brake rotor. Almost sounds like what you’re getting there. Double check that you have good clearance between the splash shield and rotor, and test drive again.
That was my thought too. Checked it out, it was the right way on, snug, no marks on the rotor. So raised the car, tried to replicate in air with no luck. Tranny was not leaking from the seal, but just received re checked the seal off it eventhough I heard it click and no leak. Just moved it around. Checked the torque of everything. Put the wheel back on. Went to do another test drive with a mechanic buddy, no noise now. Drove around and nothing. Hopefully it stays that way! Apparently just needed another person in the car 😆
