Mini in Garage for over a year

Greetings all,

I have not touched my 2012 Mini Cooper S for over a year now. It was due for an oil change just as I before had to put in the garage.
As expected, the battery is dead now. I am thinking of topping up the oil, getting the battery recharged and taking it to a nearby shop for oil change and struts replacement. I am looking to buy a new battery to replace the current OEM, the following one looks good:

EXIDE MX-H6/L3/48

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

Make sure it's an AGM battery.

I'd get a "drill powered pump" from Harbor Freight, and drain the fuel tank - refill with new before starting....may help to avoid a CEL down the road and other issues...

Drills like to create a spark around the motor commutator as they start spinning so just be careful using one around a container of gas.
