R56 Question, there seems to be a missing pipe on the engine
Some cars seem to have been manufactured without that tube, even if most have it installed. The port “may” be blocked on yours. You can check by removing that fitting, and seeing if it is blank or open. If it’s blank, replace it and motor on!

What year is your car? When I did alittle research on this in the past it seems that for the first year or 2 or the N18 builds there were some different PCV routings and solutions. FWIW Mine looks like your with the little blocked port and no tube connected to it. Zi bet other late 2012 or 2013 have a tube and perhaps could confirm.
