Snapped bolt rear upper strut

As the title says, I have snapped a bolt when putting my coilovers on. I’ve been at it for a few days with no luck. Have tried extracting kits just for none of the extractor bolts to catch the thread and after drilling a whole lot the drill has stopped making progress. I have gone through about 5 carbide bits and got roughly an inch through the bolt before it stopped making progress. Just looking for some advice or tips for getting it out. I was also wondering if there is a way to get it from above
