r53 shocks/springs on r56

Does anyone know if aftermarket shocks and lowering springs from a r53 will fit on a r56? The shocks are Bilstein but I'm not sure what the springs are.

I’m not sure where the ride height will end up... Chances are good you’ll be too low. Are you getting the set for free?

That being said, I believe they will bolt up to the car with a couple notes.

You will definitely need these for the rear:

And, you’ll need R56 front upper strut mounts. I would plan on getting this kit if you end up going through with it:

spring rates are determined by the auto manufactured weight distribution to 4 corners of the car, it will handle like crap, look like crap even if you could...that said why bother when there are other (correct ) options available to you ?
