I believe so as well. I Walnut blasted them one year ago. They were not that bad because I use water meth injection. For the last 14,000 miles.
Actually for the last year or so I’ve only been using water injection. Only because of the rules in my class.

2010 with 50,000 miles. Runs much more smoothly particularly at idle. Catch can on the way.
