Piston pin question n12

Hello
does anyone know if the piston pin in a 2008 n12 dohc is either 18mm or 20mm or other? I need to order an oversized piston and want to make sure I get the correct one.

so far I have only found weisco or cps pistons. Going with weisco since they are forged.

thank you

I'm surprised SuperTech doesn't make them. Just checked their catalog and found only turbo engines listed.

Also checked CP - Carrillo and they also don't carry pistons for the 11.0:1 CR Mini. A much better selection, but no N12 CR pistons.

Since Mahle is the OEM supplier, maybe they have some oversize pistons with the correct CR. I didn't look at Weisco catalog but you need to ensure you're getting the correct CR replacement piston.

The wrist pin dimensions shouldn't be significant since they usually come with the piston, as do the rings and pin locks. The only time to worry about wrist pin fit is when you order a stronger material, and need to specify dimensions. You should verify this when you find the correct pistons to order.

I had weisco make some custom pistons so they have the blueprints now.
