recently i installed a catless mid pipe and deleted the exhaust resonator but left the jcw muffler on my 07 R56 jcw. the car sounds great but the exhaust seems to hit the reinforcement plate that crosses the exhaust tunnel and makes a horrible rattle at certain rpm's as the exhaust vibrates. my question is if i remove this plate will it affect handling or the "stiffness" of the car its only a small plate but want to be sure before i just remove it.
