Center arm rest console lid

Is the lid supposed to latch into position?

Mine just constantly slides open backwards, and I don't see anyway that it can latch.

Again, another quirk on this 08 Mini S, not life threatening, but is irritating.

it supposed to snap. but it isnt the greatest. most of my minis do that, except the countryman...lol. it pops open

The more I look at it, and mess with it, the more I think I'll just glue it closed and be done with it.

Saw the little hinge fix.

I'll either do that, or maybe will adapt a small magnetic cabinet door latch. either way, that should fix another little design flaw.
