2nd gen(R56) gearshift **** stick diameter

Im trying figure out the diameter or size for the stick that the gearshift **** rests on for my 2008 Mini Cooper S, R56 model. If anyone can help me with the answer or somewhere I can look to find it, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to find a retainer/adapter for my boot and after over an hour of searching, I can’t find a single diameter size or even a guesstimate. Thanks my mini family!

I believe it's 14mm ? Borrowing a caliper from someone can also confirm this for ya

What are you using for a shift ****?

You could get one of these, which is made specifically for the Mini shifter:

wearelikewise makes a euroadapter which is 14mm which works for us, and theres a 10$ adapter they make that allows us to use 12x1.25 shift ***** as well.
