wheelchair lift

Anyone put a wheelchair lift on your Mini.

You mean the lift that you put on the back using a tow hook receiver? You better find a way first to get a hitch in a mini then worry about the wheelchair lift. I have seen some aftermarket hitch but you will lose the rear fogs. If you do end up getting one then this won't be a problem for you.

I saw a U-Tube video of a Bruno Type lifter installed in a VW GTI that was used to lift a scooter and put it inside. The lifter was mounted in the trunk area. I have seen the hitch you are talking about, but you have to dismantle the lifting unit. I am wondering if anybody has tried the inside set-up. Thanks for your reply...Bill

Just like shotgun said, you'll need to get the appropriate class hitch installed on your car first to ensure its compatible with the weight class.

I see they pretty pricey but $2399 can get you this one
