Front protective piece under bumper

I have an R57 cabrio. I'm posting here because I believe this part of the car is the same in both.

I have used 2011 Mini Cooper that is missing the protective front piece just under the front bumper. I believe that maybe someone did some work to this and forgot to reinstall it. I can see the hose from the turbo (I believe that's the hose) dangling when squat down and view the car. I can't find that actual part(s) here. Does anyone know what that part is?

Do you have a Cooper or Cooper S, are you talking about the lower bumper trim?

There is not pan behind the bumper. When the hose for the rad falls down its not because of the pans not there, its the clip that is broken:

Wow, I just assumed that there was a protective piece for the underside of the engine that would have prevented the rad hose from dangling! Most cars have them nowadays. I will see about the best way to re-secure it. I may be selling the car in October and don't want to keep dropping money into it until then. I've both loved and hated this car in the short time I've had it.

Welcome. Yes, the gen 2 MINI has it but only on the JCW Gp2 and with our GP2 belly pan kit. Which helps it from going any lower.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...y-pan-kit.html

gen 3+ MINIs all have the belly pans but they are made out of the felt composite like materials. The GP2 is a kevlar mixed plastic.

Even when it's not broken, the clip that holds the lower radiator hose in place doesn't work well...I would just zip tie the hose in place so it doesn't hang down. That's what I did before I installed a GP2 belly pan.
