So far so good! A bit of repair work done. The JCW turbo got rebuilt and upgraded with some K04 parts and polished, exhaust manifold polished, a Wagner Tuning intercooler, an Alta inlet tube, WMW turbo resonator delete, a WMW noise maker delete, a WMW turbo blanket, a new aluminum water pump, and water hose. Both intake and exhaust ports cleaned and intake manifold throttle body cleaned. She was spirited before at around 2800 rpm:s and up. Now perhaps a bit earlier and seems to have a second wind after 5000 rpm:s. The HP gauge indicates we went over 200HP at some point. Got to highway speed pretty quick.

Nice!
Is your car originally a JCW? It sure looks like it is, I am just wondering if you upgraded to the JCW turbo or if you started with one and continue to upgrade the rest of the intake system.

Yes, it is an original JCW. I sent the original JCW turbo to be upgraded and rebuilt after it had a mishap with a loose inlet tube rubber gasket. The inlet tube I decided to switch from the original to the aluminum Alta after this second failure of a factory inlet tube. The first cracked at the turbo and the second lost its gasket into the turbo.

Oh dear that sounds like a bit of a problem set with your intakes.

I left out that I also replaced the turbo feed line. I didn't want to risk a new turbo with a possibly contaminated old line. Plus I heat shielded it.
