Suggested brand for thermostate housing?

So my S started leaking some antifreeze the other day. I found a puddle of antifreeze under the car, and on the transmission, right below the thermostat housing. While I can't physically see the leak, i think its a safe assumption this guy needs to be changed.

Is there a non-OEM brand that is preferred? Who actually makes the OEM? OEM has already proven to not be very reliable, as their failure is very common.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

We've had good luck with our aftermarket ones and they are cheaper than the original MINI part
