Mystery cap

I had my car serviced last Friday. I washed the car tonight and found this cap under the hood, but don't see any place missing a cap. I sent a picture to the service advisor, but won't hear back until tomorrow. Does anyone know what this is off of?

Dot 4 is brake fluid, it's the top of your brake fluid reservoir.

Where would that be located?

Found it. I've been driving it like that for a week. Do you think something could have gotten in there?

Brake fluid absorbs water. I would tell the service advisor that you want the brake fluid flushed so that it is fresh.

Considering that it is under the cover, it is unlikely that any debris got in the reservoir.

+1 get that fluid changed, it might be contaminated. Also make sure they did not strip out the cap and it came off from being over tightened.

Thats the part number 34336770607
