WHY is finding this wheel so impossible?

I believe it's a BBS CS-4. It's still on the BBS USA website, and I have tons of pics of R56s with them. But somehow I can't find them anywhere. Please help

the picture you show is a GEN1 car with 4 bolt wheels

isn't the 56 a GEN3 with 5 bolt wheels?

as you say the wheel, or similar wheel, is on the BBS site, but only in 5 bolt patterns if I'm reading it correctly?

Do you need a 4 or 5?

perhaps the 4 bolt is a discontinued pattern .....

I've owned 2 r56's and they were both 4 bolt. I don't know if you meant F series minis but this is the r56 section. I don't know if all r56's are 4 bolt or not, but I don't remember seeing a 5 bolt r56

sort of, haha. i want to be sure this width fits. says they're 18" diameter x 8" wide... does that allow me to put varying widths of tires? and will the wheel fit? assuming there are many versions of this wheel and don't wanna order unless im certain.

The R56s are all 4x100. I think BJ was just confused about which forum section this is

But, Yeah at an et38 it should fit really well. Only remaining question is centerbore...it is likely larger than the Mini so if it is I wonder if they will include hubcentric rings like TireRack usually does.

They just fill the space between the larger rim center hole and the Minis small hub. Again, not needed if they rim and hub are the same size.

Amazon shows those wheels at 30 lbs each, but the BBS-CH, which is similar in design is only 24 lbs....seems like the CS4s shouldnt be 30.

It also sounds like the CS4s have a 71mm centerbore. I think the Mini is 56.15mm...so the rings would be 56.15mm ID and 71mm OD to fill the gap. (assuming those specs are true)

That R53 looks really nice with those wheels. Yea 56.1 you would need a hubcentric ring from anything else.

R56 is 4 lug and it's hard to find new BBS rims let alone old one's like the one in your picture. I'd say the reason you can't find them is that they're discontinued, good luck finding a used set.

Nice looking rims tho. I think those are the RX model, I used to have those on my MK3 Jetta 15 years ago.
