I'm shopping for an R53. I drive my wife's R52 vert and the seats are ok for a short drive but neither comfortable for long drive or bolstered enough for the twisties.

I've read the read R56 seats are better and swaps are straightforward. I think I'll try to buy some on Craigs or eBay. Parting out the R53 seats I shouldn't come out too bad.

Which OEM R56 seat style is the most supportive? (Other than the $$$ Recaro CS with the JCW badges).

 

Where are you located? I'm in NJ. I have a set of very very good condition black leather sport seats from my R56. I took the heating elements out of them, but I put them back together and they are completely intact. I have a complete set, front and back.

 

Chicago but not ready to pull the trigger. Still have to sell my car, then buy a Mini so just researching now. Which are the sport seats?
