R56 Greater Seattle area alignment shop?
Greater Seattle area alignment shop?
I need an alignment on my 2011 MCS. It came from the original owner with Hotchkiss lower control arms and Alta anti sway bars. It has way too much rear camber and toe right now.
I called Mini Seattle, they can do it. They also seemed nice.
Is there any other place I should go to instead? I am driving over from Eastern WA next week. I was thinking the dealer might be a good idea for a visit since I have no other MCS's around to base how mine is doing on. As in, does my timing chain sound normal, and do they see anything I should take care of.
But, I have had great luck with independents, more so than dealers. Anyone have one they can recommend?

You'll definitely want a place that is familiar with adjustable rear control arms to get you into the right spec. Try this site: http://www.minirepairshops.com/. Maybe a local MINI indy shop in your area has an alignment rack and can give your MINI a proper one. They might also use a shop near them that does alignments that they suggest.

I think I'll try Group 2 motorsports in Ballard. It's way out of my way, it probably expensive, but I'll also probably really like the guys I'm dealing with.
Being a helicopter mechanic, I am so freaking picky about who touches my stuff that I have walk away from more service counters than I have agreed to let them do work for me. Except for alignments, I do everything myself.
