looking for wheels

2011 MCS rolling on 16s. I'm looking at changing wheels I want to stay on 16s if possible, dont want to shell out for new tires again.

I've seen Xxr and Rota. Are these good wheels for a daily driver?
I saw these and wondering if they would work on my Mini

XXR and Rota both have bad reputations as cheap replica wheel manufacturers. Some will say they've been running either and they work fine, but others have horror stories of wheels breaking under normal driving conditions.

No matter who you go with, just make sure you look into their production methods. Forged wheels are always better than cast, and you get what you pay for with wheels.

Probably the best forged wheel out there on the more affordable side is then Enkei RPF1. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...dClar=Cooper+S

Nice looking wheels, but those arent forged. Cast w/ forming.

The Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T) combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Using this new technology of casting and rim forming by M.A.T process, is critical to improve drastically the material property and strength of the wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheels hardness.

Ah, I was mistaken then. Still, flow forming is far better than plain gravity cast, which most Rotas and XXRs are.
