STX Coilover height adjustment

To lower the rear coilovers - is it the same as the front (raising/lowering the perch)?

Do I just lower the perch down towards the ground? I felt like I read they need to be removed from the car to be lowered (rear).

Please let me know!

Adjust the rear, scroll down on the VW coilover PDF we have : page #31 for some pointers.

The MINI ST coilovers are right here for reference and pics: You are putting the R56 version S/JCW ones on the JCW coupe ?

Looks like the VW style is different for the rear coilover. Do I have to remove the rear coilover to adjust it or can I just rotate the perch down to the ground/or up?

Like the fronts when installed in the pdf , don't have a good pdf with the rear coilover adjustment for coil on body set up.

Some good tips on there for the adjustment after the settle and pointers.

If it's like most coilovers, the rears coilovers are difficult to adjust because it is tight and the trailing arm and mufflers get In the way on the R55. Not sure about the R56.

On the R55 it's easier to remove the coilover, adjust, remount.

Thanks! So it seems I can just lower the spring perch and that should adjust ride hide. Taking it off the car just makes it a little easier
