Firehawk Indy 500
Anyone try them? I need to get tires within the next few days and they seem like a good option. Can't beat the price on Tirerack and the reviews are good but I would like to hear directly from the community, using them on the car.
Going to be used for daily driving and autocrossing

The Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (not wide oval) tires are pretty new to the US market, but
they appear to be a rebranded Bridgestone RE003 Potenza Adrenaline already sold abroad.
The RE003 has a lower treadwear rating, but it's another country's rating (220), and isn't
necessarily the same as its US market equivalent. They look exactly the same, however.
I'm also interested to know how they compare to comparable tires.
(Main competition in same class in 205/50/16 seems to be the BFG G-Force Sport Comp 2).

I went ahead with them, my local speed shop ordered them for me. Considering the price and my desire for a very grippy tire, I felt they should be fine. They will be put on tomorrow. I can give my first impressions if anyone cares, otherwise, thank you all for your insight, it is greatly appreciated.

After a bit of driving I can give some insight as to my thoughts. Note that my previous tires were garbage and I think run-flats so as a whole, pretty miserable. Anything would be better. The Indy 500's are pretty solid so far. They have a lot of grip and hug well. My PSI is around 37 in the front and 35 in the back. The ride quality is good, noticeably smoother than the tires I had before. (Sorry I don't know what those were). The 500s give me a ton of confidence at high speeds, very stable. Road noise is better than my old tires but not by much. I did the back seat delete and don't have any sound dampening material so the cabin is already a bit louder than normal. I don't feel the road noise is bad. The look of the tire is pretty cool too. I think the tires out perform the car and the only thing holding it back from handling better is the car itself. I will be purchasing a rear sway bar.

Wanted to put up one more update. I had the tires on for an Autocross event this past sunday. I was running less PSI than I wanted (About 30-35) all around, definitely felt a little soft but overall I was very happy with them, they helped me post pretty good times. I think with a little more PSI and one more run I could have taken off another half second on an already fast course. I recommend these tires for sure.

Here's a brief test from Tire Rack from earlier this month indicating the Indy 500 compares
favorably to the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2 (but on a Camaro with 35 series tires):
To many consumers, a tire's performance is based on how well it hugs the turns when hustling their car down an old back road or on its precise steering response for perfectly clipped corner apexes. For these individuals, Firestone introduced the first tire of the evaluation, the Ultra High Performance Summer Firehawk Indy 500. Firestone arranged a wet autocross-style course featuring 90-degree turns, s-turns and one 180-degree hairpin for this demonstration. The comparison tire was the category leader, the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2, and the test vehicles were 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SSs with 255/35R20 tires inflated to factory recommended pressures front and rear. Both tires provided reassuringly confident grip in the wet, responding quickly when asked to change directions and displaying the ability to transfer a surprising amount of the big V8's power to the ground, even with liberal throttle application. In this evaluation, the Firehawk Indy 500 distinguished itself by displaying greater front end traction. Due to the enhanced level of grip at the front axle, the driver was able to brake later in the Camaro with the Firestones, and where the BFGoodrich tires would mildly wash out and understeer through some turns, the Firehawk Indy 500s held on, allowing the driver to hold the intended line and rotate the back end.

Here's a nice road test that just came out.
It pits the Indy 500 against the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2
and two others.

My current contenders for next daily drive summer tires after my current
205/50/16 Conti DW set wears out or gets an unfixable puncture are:
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 in 205/50/16
Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105 in 205/55/16
or maybe even take the plunge to
Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec in 205/50/16.

They finally have enough data for survey ratings on Tire Rack,
and they're comparing very favorably to other UHP summer tires:
