R56 Zandvoort Mirror Caps

Zandvoort Mirror Caps

I saw a set of mirror caps today at my local BMW dealership during a swap meet, and I am considering picking them up. They are a set of "Mini United Zandvoort" mirror caps. Any ideas on if I should? I know that they'll be there for a while, and they are quite literally fresh out of the box.

The issue is I drive an R50, and they are for an R56. Another friend of minw has an R56 and I got them for him for ten bucks. I really was just wondering if they were anything special.

They were event mirror caps sold at the MINI United festival at Zandvoort in 2007. It's almost like MINI Takes The States, but without the cross country drive. If they're for a 2nd gen they won't fit your R50. Was it only the door mirror caps, or did they have the rear view mirror, too?
