R56 CPO 2013 MCS with 45k miles. Am I crazy?

So, congrats!
Just took another look at your car while the link is still shown active in MINI of Tempe's inventory. Love that color and very nicely optioned too! Frankly, I'd have considered that one but was adamant about limiting my own search to low mileage with manual gearbox which few folks buy or lease these days. So never saw it. Maybe my loss and your gain, though I'm delighted with the MCS I bought per details PM'd you previously.
Seems I was mistaken on eligible CPO extended warranty, i.e., I thought that only gave me 1 additional year of warranty. Mention here to the contrary that its actually 2 full years greatly pleases me. With mine just under 18k miles at time of my purchase (completion of prior 36 months lease), seems I have 3 vs 2 years of factory warranty protection. Mine won't accrue high mileage, so warranty time is much more important to me than mileage cap...

I can't imagine being scared of a 45K mile car. My last buy was a BMW with 98K miles on it. My daughter recently bought a 2011 R56 with 57K miles on it.
Enjoy the Mini! I'm sorry you're having it shipped. Having the chance to drive and sightsee across much of the US is a real treat, and you'd get to see a lot of interesting territory. I always enjoy 1000+ mile trips, and I look for opportunities to take them. It's easy to do 500 miles a day and still stop to do one or two fun things every day.

Congrat's!
I think you're going to really like that car. Looking at the original build sheet, I don't expect you'll be unhappy with it. That car is loaded.
It's a very nice car, and I hope it is everything you and your wife expect it to be.
