Automatic side window adjustment

Dear Forum Members,
Excuse me my laymen question but I am new to Mini R55/56 family. I have recently bought R55 and i am wondering if the side widnow should automaticaly lower a bit when you open doors and slide up in the seal when you close it? This is a common feature in cars with frameless door windows.

Yes, when you open the door. Just the front doors only of course.

If yours isn't doing that, there's something wrong - maybe try resetting it as described in the below thread.

Yea, if it does not dip all the way and catches time for a reset.
