I have a single bulb out in 3rd brake light on my R56 and I know it's a reason for a bored cop to pull me over. I found the whole light as I can't just replace the bulb (I'll link it below).
Has anyone had to replace this before? Is it easy? I know it clips in but is there a plug for the wires or will I need to solder wires? My last question (bare with me), is the trim piece easy to remove to access the light?
We have a third brake light replacement article on our site under MINI > Tech Info (tab at top) > R56 articles > Electrical > Third Brake and License Plate Lights Replacing. Check it out.

Thanks! I actually found this upon further research after posting my thread. Definitely helped!
