I have the exact same leak. That's the temp sensor, it has an o-ring around it. The plastic sensor comes straight up out of that metal housing after you release the 2 tabs on the sides. Remove the old o-ring, install the new one, insert it back into the hole. It's super easy, just make sure the engine has completely cooled - like overnight - or you will get a face full of coolant.
Have you had the thermostat replaced yet on your R56? The new thermostat design comes with the temp sensor integrated into it, which renders that sensor useless. You can see the new thermostat below. That o-ring in the sensor is prone to leaking. Many people will plug that hole permanently once they replace their thermostat so that it does not leak.

Do u have specific brand name for the tem senor and where i could get it?
P0597 sounds like you have a bad thermostat. Read over this thread HERE and HERE for info. Thermostat and adapter lead for your R56 is HERE. Once you determine this is your fix, you can take some RTV and seal off that section permanently so that it wont leak from there again. As I posted above, the new thermostat sensor is integrated into the thermostat housing.
