Milltek Exhaust Fitment Help Needed
Happy New Year Guys!
I just spent the day trying to install a Milltek exhaust. I'm not even sure it CAN fit? I contacts the body in several places. It presses firmly against the brace. The tips touch the fender. It has bends in it that aren't needed. It hangs way below the exhaust tunnel.
Anyone out there with a Milltek had a similar experience? Anyone have any pics of a nicely aligned Milltek exhaust?
Thanks in advance!

So..
The Milltek exhaust I received simply did not, could not fit.
I spent an entire afternoon wrestling with it and decided to take it to the best muffler shop in town. They could not align it either.
The fundamental problem was that the inlet tube to the rear muffler was angled, when it really needed to be perpendicular (see pic) No matter how we rotated and adjusted it the angled inlet pushed the tubing to the side of the exhaust tunnel. Also, the tubing rested heavily in the chassis brace. The rear muffler was angled upwards preventing the tips being used.
Ultimately we chose to cut off the inlet tube and weld a new piece in place.
If anyone out there has pics of a nicely aligned Milltek exhaust WITHOUT cutting and welding, Id really like to see it!!
