In most cases Mini dealers are equal to or worse than Mini/BMW, they have the same BS attitude. My family has been ripped off by so many different car brand dealers that we just stay away from dealers as a whole, they have to much overhead to pay for, its starting to look like a common trend these days that this is typical dealer mentality. Somebody has to pay for and keep up that multi-million dollar facility. I choose not me.

I'm glad you found a place with reasonable prices and not over inflated ones.

 

Of course if everyone avoided the dealer service departments, then they would have to make more money on the cars, so you'd pay more upfront.

 

A lot of people already avoid the dealers like the bubonic plague, it's the only way to send a message to car makers and dealers. We have the power, not the manufacturers.
