hi all I just bought a low mileage 07 mini cooper s i believe it has the n14 engine in it.......i can feel some slapping when i tap the accelerator pedal on the highway..........does anyone have a diagram of the locations etc of engine mounts ..it a 6spd.............also when idleing the engine does shake a little .new plugs coils etc....someone told me me all these n14 engines run like that..but i could also be an engine mount

 

If the engine is rocking a lot then check the lower engine mount first. Its in the middle on the bottom backside of the engine.

The lower mount is commonly called a torque arm.
