Im selling it when done. Im not putting my 15 year old into this car for her 1st car. Shes sad but im not doing this again. Ive spoken to too many people that all say these cars are prone for this issue, timing chains, water pumps, fuel pumps etc. I should have researched these cars better. Lesson learned.

 

Maybe look at getting a used engine ? Might be less trouble if you want to sell it.

 

That's why im selling this money pit. Used engines are at least 3500 and new short blocks are 3800. Plus the labor of 2500 to have someone install. 6000 plus the 9000 ive already paid for this car, NOO WAY. ill have about 2000 to repair on top of my 9000, so I may be able to recover most. Besides I actually know whats in this motor by taking it apart versus buying a used motor that you don't know and only pray that its ok inside. This will be a good reliable car when im done. At least for another 20000 miles until it breaks again as normal for these cars.
