BlueDriver Diagnositc Tool

Does anyone use this device? I have read many reviews online that say it's a good product, but I would like to hear from some Mini owners about their experience.

I am looking for an alternative to the ScanGear II OBD reader. I know there are a few bluetooth OBD scan tools for android users, but I have an iPhone. Any advice would be appreciated.

bump!!

Car went into limp mode tonight... got it home under its own power... last time this happened I brought it to AutoZone and scanned the code. 2 bad coils. The dealer replaced both.

I could not be more pleased with the BlueDriver purchase decision. It arrived ahead of schedule. With the assistance of Lemur support I was able to clear the EC code on my 09 Mini JCW R55, clearing the engine code on a BMW can be challenging. I now have a much better understanding of how the engine functions on my Mini thanks to BlueDriver. This has been by far the best customer service experience I have ever had.

I'd do some research and see what BlueDriver can do compared to buying a wifi OBD2 dongle off of Amazon and then getting an app like Torque. I have an android phone so I use a bluetooth OBD2 dongle but there are wifi ones for iPhone:
https://www.amazon.com/Veepeak-Scann...ords=wifi+obd2

That one is $18
Then, all you do is buy an obd2 app for around $5 (Torque Pro is what I use on Android and it's $5 but not available on iOS it seems)

check out this post:

If that app can do everything that you want it to do (and for me, Torque Pro does) then it would be a cheaper alternative to BlueDriver. I just wanted a code reader with code clearing functionality and live data monitoring, and Torque Pro with a cheap bluetooth adapter does the job.
